FAQ
Who is JGID for?
Anyone. Any pace, any distance, any background. The charity we fund works specifically with men, but the club itself has never had a door policy and never will.
Do I have to be a runner?
No. Half of what we do is walking. The monthly 13 can be walked, split across two days, or cut short. Turning up is the whole standard.
How fit do I need to be?
Fit enough to start. If 13km is out of reach right now, do 5 and build. Nobody is checking.
Is there an actual meet-up, or is it all online?
The 13 happens wherever you are, on the same weekend as everyone else. Some people run it together, most run it alone and post it after. Both count. The Strava club and group chat are where people arrange to meet up in between.
Is 25% really going to charity?
Yes — 25% of the price you pay, not 25% of profit. The maths is on the mission page, and the live donation total is on the donations page.
Are you a mental health charity?
No. We're a run club that funds one and points people towards it. If you need real support, this page lists people who are trained for it.
What sizes do the tees come in?
Small through XL. They're a regular unisex fit — if you're between sizes, size up.
When does my order arrive?
Orders are posted within 2–3 working days. UK delivery is usually 2–4 days after that. Full details here.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — 30 days, unworn, tags on. The charity share still gets paid regardless. Returns process here.
What's the app?
A training app that builds plans for whatever you're chasing — first 5k to first ultra — plus a way to find your nearest ANDYSMANCLUB group and log your monthly 13. It's in build.
Can my company get involved?
Yes — we're always looking for sponsors. Email hello@jgid-club.com.
